Even in the midst of what is by his standards a career year, Ryan LaMarre is still experiencing the limbo of being a "4A" player.
LaMarre, 29, a former University of Michigan outfielder and Jackson Lumen Chrsiti graduate, was designated for assignment on Monday night, according to the Minnesota Twins.
This was just one of a handful of moves made by the Twins on the day which also saw them activate centerfielder Byron Buxton from the DL, sending him to Triple-A Rochester for a rehab assignment, while brining up Jorge Polanco who is also coming off of a stint on the DL.
