"It's not whether you'll get your chance — it's when you'll get your chance, and if you'll be ready when you get your chance."
For redshirt freshman offensive tackle Ryan Hayes, that chance came this past Saturday. Against Middle Tennessee State, Hayes earned the start at left tackle in place of fifth-year senior Jon Runyan Jr.
