With the graduation of Devin Gardner, the Wolverines are starting fresh at quarterback, but at the same time, they are hoping to see better results from the position than in recent years. While the coaches are keeping an open mind about the competition at that spot, the obvious frontrunners are junior Shane Morris and Iowa graduate transfer Jake Rudock.
The Big Ten Network was on hand for Michigan’s Wednesday practice session, gaining both signal callers’ perspectives on how the competition will ultimately be decided.
“I think what will determine the battle is who they feel is most ready to play against Utah,” noted Morris.
