Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock should return to play on Saturday against Rutgers.
Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno said today he expects Rudock will return after suffering what coach Jim Harbaugh called a bruised torso and rib area in last Saturday's win over Minnesota.
"Absolutely, yes," Drevno said.
Rudock, Michigan's fifth-year starting QB, has practiced both days this week after leaving the game late in the third quarter of the 29-26 win over Minnesota, when he was hit from both sides by different Golden Gophers. A concussion was ruled out and it was just about how much pain he could tolerate.
