ANN ARBOR -- The call came in sometime over the winter, while he and his then-fiance were having dinner in Chicago.
Roy Roundtree didn't recognize the number flashing on his phone and thought it might be a recruit. He was in his first full-fledged recruiting class at Indiana State, an FCS school that hired him to coach receivers in January 2017.
It was his third job in three years, all at different schools -- and he was about to be asked to move again.
"Roy, it's Jimmy," said the person on the other end of the line.
