Close to a year ago, Ronnie Bell had a conversation with his dad, Aaron, about the future.
At the time, Bell was committed to play basketball at Missouri State. He signed his letter of intent during the early signing period.
But Bell wanted to play football so he decommitted from Missouri State.
On Saturday, Bell caught his second career touchdown in Michigan football's 42-21 win over Maryland.
Looks like that decision paid off.
“It’s crazy to think about how much it switched,” Bell said Tuesday.
The freshman receiver has had plenty of time to reflect on his unusual path to Ann Arbor.
