As more college football coaches speak out, lamenting the loss of satellite camps, one of the most vocal came Monday: Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez.
Though he didn't mention Michigan or coach Jim Harbaugh by name, the former U-M coach came down on the Wolverines' side of the increasingly contentious issue, in comments to Arizona reporters, as posted on tucson.com.
Much like his Pac-12 colleague Mike Leach, Rodriguez was strongly opposed to the ban.
But the Pac-12's rep on the Division I Council, UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero voted for the ban.
Rodriguez and Leach want the camps because it allows them to get into talent-rich California, where they can try to draw some of the talent that naturally flows to USC and UCLA.
