Report: Singletary out as Michigan staffer

Originally hired by Lloyd Carr, Chris Singletary made it through two coaching changes as a member of the Michigan support staff, but a third move at the top in seven years proved to be too much to overcome.

According to a report on 247 Sports, the long-time member of the program will not continue under Harbaugh.

Singletary played at Michigan from 1996-98, and was brought in as a member of the recruiting staff under Carr. When Rich Rodriguez took charge, Singletary assumed the role of Recruiting Coordinator. That position was handed over to assistant coach Jeff Hecklinski under Brady Hoke, with Singletary taking on the mantle as the Director of Player Personnel.
