Quarterback Shane Morris arrived at Michigan with significant expectations on his shoulders, highly rated nationally as a prospect out high school. The former Warren De La Salle signal caller now appears to be moving on from his time with the Maize and Blue.
ESPN.com’s Tom VanHaaren cited unnamed sources, reporting that Morris intends to transfer for his final year of eligibility.
Morris saw action as a true freshman in 2013, including a start in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl against Kansas State in place of an injured Devin Gardner. He started again the following year against Minnesota in a game best remembered for the controversy surrounding his presence on the field after sustaining a concussion.
