Report: Pat Perles headed to Michigan to become OL coach

A couple of weeks ago, the seemingly unthinkable happen: two coaches at the University of Michigan left to becomes coaches at Ohio State.

Maybe it was a sign of things to come.

Pat Perles, the son of former Michigan State coach George Perles, has agreed to become an analyst/assistant offensive line coach at Michigan, reported ESPN's Field Yates on Monday morning.

Pat Perles, 55, has coached in the NFL and on the college level. His last listed job was as an offensive line coach at Syracuse in 2013.

George Perles was the head coach at Michigan State from 1983-1994.
