Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines have been overhauling the program since the end of last season, including a facelift of the recruiting operations. It appears the work continues as we head into the dog days of the offseason.
According to a report from FootballScoop, Michigan is looking to add Vanderbilt on-campus recruiting coordinator Christina DeRuyter to the staff.
DeRuyter, the daughter of college coaching veteran Tim DeRuyter, had joined ranks of the SEC as a member of Clark Lea’s staff at Vanderbilt back in March.
With the Commodores, DeRuyter had the opportunity to join forces with a completely revamped personnel and recruiting staff led by former 247 director of scouting Barton Simmons as well as Nik Valdiserri and Gerald “Smoke” Dixon.
