After adding Jaaron Simmons from Ohio before this past season, Michigan appears to be interested in adding graduate transfers again.
The latest report from Evan Daniels of 247Sports says the Wolverines are recruiting South Dakota guard Matt Mooney along with some other high-major players.
According to the report, Moore will meet with John Beilein next Tuesday. Moore said he will “give Michigan a serious look.”
Mooney has already visited with Bobby Hurley, Greg McDermott, Archie Miller, Chris Beard and Dana Altman, according to the same report from Daniels.
This wouldn’t be the first transfer for Mooney as he started his collegiate basketball career at Air Force as a freshman before heading to South Dakota.
