Report: Michigan hires Greg Frey as run game coordinator, Jay Harbaugh to switch jobs

ANN ARBOR -- Jim Harbaugh is shuffling his coaching staff.

At least on the offensive side of the football.

After interviewing earlier this week, former Michigan assistant and Indiana offensive line coach/co-offensive coordinator Greg Frey is reportedly back in Ann Arbor.

Scout.com's Sam Webb reported Wednesday morning that Frey will be Michigan's new run game coordinator. He will be in charge of coaching Michigan's tackles and tight ends. With that move, offensive coordinator Tim Drevno will now coach the team's centers and guards.

And, with that move, Jay Harbaugh will now coach Michigan's running backs -- a job that was left open after Tyrone Wheatley left to coach the Jacksonville Jaguars.
