John Beilein has reportedly filled one of his two assistant coaching jobs.

DeAndre Haynes has reportedly been hired by Michigan.

DeAndre Haynes, a Detroit native with five years of experience at the Division I level, has been hired by Michigan to be an assistant coach for the men's basketball team, according to a report by Michigan Insider's Josh Henschke.

A Michigan spokesman could not confirm the hire Thursday.

The move marks the second this summer for Haynes, 33, who took an assistant coaching job at Illinois in May.

Haynes spent last season as an assistant coach at Toledo under Tod Kowalczyk, helping the Rockets to a 17-win season and College Basketball Invitational appearance.
