ANN ARBOR -- With a degree from Michigan in two, Derrick Green has reportedly decided to play his final year of college football at TCU next season.
Jeremy Clark of 247Sports reported Thursday night that Green will join coach Gary Patterson's program, citing a source.
Green did not immediately reply to a message from MLive seeking confirmation.
Having graduated from Michigan in three years, Green is a graduate transfer and can play at the Football Bowl Subdivision level without having to sit a season.
A former five-star prospect at the No. 1-ranked running back in the 2013 recruiting class, Green rushed for 898 yards and seven touchdowns on 212 carries in 28 games at U-M, including seven starts.
