Report: Donor for Michigan football's trip to Paris received $102 million from school

Speaking outside of the Eiffel Tower in May, Jim Harbaugh praised the two men responsible for sending the Michigan football team to France.

"I thank Bobby Kotick for having the vision to endow this," Harbaugh said. "Don Graham helped out this year -- two great guys. Two great Michigan guys."

The two split the estimated $800,000 cost for the seven-day, six-night trip, during which the Wolverines toured historic landmarks.

According to a report in the Detroit Free Press, the money went both ways, as U-M invested $102 million in private equity funds run by Graham's son.
