Being able to flip talented recruits is a telltale sign of good recruiting. Not only do you convince young athletes to come to your school, you also take a player another program was counting on off their board, weakening rivals and top schools across the country.

The Michigan Wolverines were able to do that last week when they convinced 2025 three-star defensive lineman Benny Patterson to flip from Cincinnati, and four-star cornerback Shamari Earls to flip from Georgia.
