On Saturday, Michigan scored their second five-star commitment of the 2019 cycle when Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian defensive end Chris Hinton committed to the Wolverines over Ohio State, Georgia, Stanford among others.
It wasn't only the second five-star commitment for the staff, it was their second in a little over two weeks after Louisville (Ky.) Trinity defensive end Stephen Herron committed to U-M shortly after their BBQ at the Big House.
Michigan has signed one five-star in each of the last two cycles, so they've surpassed it early on in the 2019 class while still being in on several more elite prospects in the class.
