PARAMUS, N.J. – Michigan hasn’t had a championship football team in more than a decade.
That means nearly all the players being recruited now can’t remember the Wolverines as Big Ten champs.
Yet many still have a tie.
“I’ve been a Michigan fan since I was younger, I knew about Michigan,” Paramus (N.J.) Catholic linebacker Drew Singleton said last week. “I used to watch Michigan on TV all the time. So they’ve always been relevant. But now it’s real and I’m in a position where I could go to Michigan.
