Four-star 2018 offensive guard prospect Jalil Irvin made his long-planned trip to visit Michigan last week.
The only problem for the Wolverines? After spending Friday in Ann Arbor, Irvin stopped to check out rival Ohio State on Saturday.
The Stone Mountain, Ga., product verbally committed to U-M in June but decommitted in August. He has family in the Detroit area and visited them on this trip.
And hearing that he would be in the Midwest, the Buckeyes invited him to swing by.
"They're really similar," Irvin said of the two programs.
