Read ex-Michigan OC Tim Drevno's resignation letter

ANN ARBOR -- Ex-Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno reportedly resigned three days before landing at his new job.

In a three-paragraph letter to Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel and head football coach Jim Harbaugh dated for Feb. 23, obtained by MLive via a Freedom of Information Act request, Drevno offered his resignation and thanked both for his three-plus years in Ann Arbor.

Feb. 23 was the same day reports said Drevno had resigned from the Michigan coaching staff, though no reason has ever been given.

"This letter will serve as official note that I am resigning from the position of Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at the University of Michigan effective February 28, 2018," Drevno wrote.
