Running back Kareem Walker appears to have left the Michigan football program.
The former five-star recruit from Wayne, N.J., has enrolled at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas and plans to play there this fall, head coach Kale Pick told reporters on Friday.
Pick was speaking during the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference media-day event when he identified the 6-foot-1, 211-pound Walker as a potential "impact" player for his team in 2018.
"We just signed him today, so we're very excited about that," Pick said.
Walker did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
