ROME -- Wilton Speight stepped outside the net, removed his headgear and wiped the sweat from his brow.
He then looked over with a smile, dirt and paint covering his face, and made an impromptu proclamation.
"This is the best thing we've ever done," the quarterback said as he polished his paintball rifle inside Rome's Speedball Roma Club. "Best activity we've ever had as a team."
Jim Harbaugh and company took a break from city life in Rome on Tuesday and headed south to experience some unique team bonding.
They spent the morning shooting each other with paintballs.
