Michigan's Rashan Gary and Maurice Hurst continue to pile up the preseason accolades.
The duo landed on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list on Thursday, an annual awarded handed down in December to college football's most outstanding defensive player.
Gary, a sophomore defensive end, and Hurst, a fifth-year senior defensive tackle from Massachusetts, are already on the Bednarik Award watch list for 2017.
Both players are expected to start on Don Brown's talented, but still unproven, defensive line.
Hurst had 34 tackles - 11 1/2 for a loss - and 4 1/2 sacks in 12 games last season for the Wolverines.
