ANN ARBOR -- If Rashan Gary is dealing with an injury, he isn't ready to admit it.
Michigan's junior defensive end laughed on Monday when asked about being taken out of the game in the first quarter on Saturday, in what turned out to be a 56-10 blowout win over Nebraska.
Gary sat on the sidelines afterward, appearing to be attended to by a team trainer. It looked like his right shoulder was being examined.
Instead, Gary said, it was to get others more playing time. True freshman Aidan Hutchinson replaced him at defensive end.
"It's the bigger picture," said Gary, a first-team all-Big Ten selection in 2017.
