Despite losing players like Kurtis Drummond, Doran Grant and Ibraheim Campbell, the Big Ten still has some quality safeties returning to compete this fall. With that said though, after the top three, there is a bit of a drop off, given a couple off-season developments.
We would have ranked Maryland’s Sean Davis as the fourth best safety, but he has moved to cornerback. Our fifth best safety, Indiana’s Antonio Allen, has been kicked off the team after being arrest for dealing drugs. With that in mind, here is our look at the top safeties in the Big Ten.
