Racine Named Big Ten Second Star of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- University of Michigan ice hockey senior goaltender Steve Racine was named Big Ten Second Star of the Week today (Tuesday, Dec. 1).

Despite suffering an injury on Saturday night (Nov. 28), Racine was at his best this weekend in two games against Dartmouth. On Friday night (Nov. 27), Racine earned his second career shutout in net, making 33 saves, including 12 in the third period of a 7-0 win over the Big Green.
