The Wolverines have nabbed the nation's top running back, who should make an instant impact in Ann Arbor.
Michigan secured the commitment of another big time prospect on Thursday afternoon, this time in the form of 2016 running back Kareem Walker (Wayne, New Jersey).
Walker is a four-star prospect, the nation's top running back and the 38th-overall player in the class, according to the 247 Composite.
Michigan's rushing attack had its moments in 2015, but a lead back -- or even an overly impressive one -- never emerged. The running back corps badly needed a shot in the arm and they have have that now in Walker.
