Michigan football agreed to a two-year deal with Matt Weiss, according to records obtained by the Free Press.
Weiss, previously an assistant coach with the Baltimore Ravens, signed a memorandum of understanding with Michigan on Feb. 22, according to records obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request.
The agreement lists Weiss as an assistant football coach. He will make $600,000 in base salary over both years of his contract.
Weiss, who was announced as the Wolverines' quarterbacks coach, was a member of the Ravens' coaching staff for the past 12 seasons, where he worked for Jim Harbaugh's brother, John.
