The NBA offseason has been as wild and crazy as ever. With max contracts continually being thrown around, the landscape of the league as a whole is unique compared to its history. Several former Michigan basketball players have benefited.
Here’s what has happened for each former Wolverine in the offseason so far.
Franz Wagner, F, Orlando Magic
To the surprise of some, Wagner signed a max contract extension with the Orlando Magic. The deal is for five years and $224,238,150, giving him an average yearly total of $44,847,630. All of it is fully guaranteed. Wagner is now locked up until 2030.
