The Michigan football coaching staff is just about done (pending one final move).
With the defections of Greg Mattison and Al Washington to Ohio State, Jim Harbaugh needed to fill two vacancies on defense. He replenished it with former Boston College co-DC Anthony Campanile and today’s hiring of Arizona State defensive line coach Shaun Nua.
Jim McElwain also left for the head position at Central Michigan, leaving an opening at wide receivers coach. Harbaugh stated that the plan is to promote offensive analyst Ben McDaniels.
That can’t happen at the moment.
