Predicting Michigan football's depth chart for 2017 season

By now, everyone knows the challenges facing Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan football team this year.

The Wolverines must replace 17 starters and will be the nation’s least-experienced team, according to college football guru Phil Steele.

Michigan does return a few important players, such as redshirt junior quarterback Wilton Speight, fifth-year senior defensive tackle Maurice Hurst, senior offensive tackle Mason Cole and fifth-year senior linebacker Mike McCray. Most of the team’s starting jobs are open, however, for the litany of sophomores and freshman on the roster to take.

Here’s a projection of what the depth chart will look like entering fall camp, which begins Monday.
