• Michigan improved to 4-1 in the all-time series against Colorado and is now 3-1 in meetings at Michigan Stadium. The Wolverines also improved to 50-26-1 against teams currently in the Pac-12 Conference. Today is the first meeting between U-M and Colorado since the Buffaloes joined the Pac-12 in 2011.
• Four-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick -- both Michigan graduates -- served as the Wolverines' honorary captains. Former Michigan assistant and Colorado head coach Bill McCartney served as the Buffaloes' honorary captain.
• Michigan also honored its 2016 Olympians and Paralympians, including silver medalists Connor Jaeger (swimming, 1,500m freestyle) and Zach Burns (paralympic rowing, legs, trunks and arms mixed coxed four) and bronze medalist Nick Willis (track and field, 1,500m run), during halftime.
