After the longest offseason in recent memory, the Michigan Wolverines are undefeated following a dominant 30-3 victory over East Carolina. In a game that never felt close even when the score was 0-0, several position groups stood out — for one reason or another — for the Wolverines.

As a passer, J.J. McCarthy was excellent completing 26-of-30 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns. The passing offense has not looked this fluent at Michigan in years, and it is a welcomed sight.
