ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Defensive back Jabrill Peppers of the 16th-ranked University of Michigan football team earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week recognition on Monday (Nov. 2) for his performance in Michigan's 29-26 victory over Minnesota on Saturday (Oct. 31). It marks the second such honor for Peppers this season.
In Michigan's sixth win of the year, Peppers made three tackles -- two of which were solo stops -- and added a pair of pass breakups from the defensive secondary. He played 92 total snaps, including a single-game career-high seven plays on offense.
