Penn State no longer has running back Saquon Barkley, the No. 2 pick in April's NFL draft who torched Michigan for a 69-yard touchdown run and 42-yard touchdown reception in last year's 42-13 stomping in State College. But the Nittany Lions still have quarterback Trace McSorley.
The dual-threat missed a few series in Saturday's game against Iowa -- a 30-24 home victory -- because of a knee injury. All signs indicate he will start when Penn State visits Ann Arbor on Saturday (3:45 p.m., ESPN).
Even without the dynamic Barkley, Penn State (6-2, 3-2 in the Big Ten) has averaged 41 points per game and ranks 18th in the country in yards per play.
