Well, clearly, Michigan isn't ready for the Big Ten season — not on the health front, as Spike Albrecht continues to pinball between rehab for his surgically repaired hip and practice and spot minutes in games, and, frankly, not on the talent front.
The latter was made perfectly evident late Tuesday night in Dallas, where SMU, ranked 19th in the nation, not first, and with no NCAA Tournament possibilities to look forward to thanks to Larry Brown and some violations, absolutely throttled Michigan.
