Would Notre Dame go with the returning starter or the more polished passer who led a late comeback in a bowl victory? Michigan's quarterback room is filled with four-stars, but Jim Harbaugh brought in a big-time transfer in the offseason.
And yet, the worst kept secret on both campuses is that Brandon Wimbush and Shea Patterson are the opening game starters.
