'Not done yet': Dickinson's heroics keep Michigan's postseason hopes afloat in OT win

Ann Arbor — For a moment, Michigan’s postseason hopes looked to be on the ropes.

Trailing by three with 2.1 seconds left in Sunday’s regular-season home finale against Wisconsin, the Wolverines were staring at another heartbreaking setback and brutal blow to their NCAA Tournament resume.

At least, that was until junior center Hunter Dickinson gave Michigan new life with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the end of regulation and the Wolverines continued their late-season surge by clawing out an 87-79 overtime victory over the Badgers for their sixth win in eight games.

BOX SCORE: Michigan 87, Wisconsin 79 (OT)

“It was an amazing shot that (Dickinson) made,” Michigan coach Juwan Howard said.
