It’s year three of the Jim Harbaugh era at Michigan and for the third time, fans, the media and the Wolverines’ first opponent will be left guessing on who the starting quarterback will be until the opening game. But while Maize and Blue’s head coach was unwilling at his Monday press conference to tip his hand on the battle between Wilton Speight and John O’Korn, he opened up later on the starting kicker.
At his weekly radio program, Harbaugh named Quinn Nordin as the team’s starting place kicker, while offering his thoughts on the rest of the special teams group as well.
