Ann Arbor -- Whether starting defensive end Rashan Gary and running back Chris Evans will be available for Saturday's game against Maryland is unclear.

"No updates this morning," Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday.

Evans has missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury, and Gary appeared to suffer an injury to his right shoulder/arm during the game at Northwestern last Saturday.

Harbaugh also said he hasn’t yet received an explanation from the Big Ten on the controversial holding call against running back Karan Higdon during the win over Northwestern.
