ANN ARBOR -- It took him more than seven months, but on Sunday John Beilein finally watched the tape from Michigan's national championship loss to Villanova. He viewed it without the sound -- Michigan's offensive possessions first, then Villanova's.
Actually, Beilein had watched some back in April, but it was only two plays -- two that he deemed "pivotal" -- and then shut it down. Re-watching the game in full, Beilein was reminded that it turned so quickly.
Michigan was up seven points midway through the first half. The margin was just two at the 3:30 mark.
