ANN ARBOR -- Michigan will head into its final road game of the season as a favorite.
The 14th-ranked Wolverines (8-2, 5-1) opened up as five-point favorites for their trip to Penn State on Saturday (noon, ABC).
If Michigan wins, it will keep its hope of a Big Ten East title alive heading into its regular-season finale against Ohio State at Michigan Stadium on Nov. 28.
The Wolverines are fresh off a 48-41 double-overtime victory at Indiana.
Penn State, meanwhile, is entering Saturday's game after a bye week. The Nittany Lions (7-3, 4-2) lost at Northwestern, 23-21, two weeks ago.
