New U-M football cleats revealed on Nike Day 1

On the first day, there were ... cleats.

Just hours after Michigan officially became a Nike school with a bash on Ann Arbor's State Street, the players began to show off their goods.

Their Jumpman/Jordan Brand cleats appear to be navy with a maize sole.

Receiver Maurice Ways was the first to reveal them on Twitter, writing "thank you for blessing us @Jumpman23." Then he turned them around in a 10-second video, which showed off the maize Jumpman logo on the sides, the navy laces and maize fasteners, holding the laces.

U-M All-America cornerback Jourdan Lewis had some fun with his, writing a black "u" into the word Jordan on the back to personalize them:

Fullback Khalid Hill said at the Nike launch event Sunday that the players have seen their gear and tried them on on before the launch.
