Michigan’s latest assistant coaching hire was an interesting one, as the Wolverines pried away Maurice Linguist from the Dallas Cowboys to become their co-defensive coordinator alongside Mike Macdonald.
That news was reported on Tuesday, and even though the hire hasn’t been made official by the university just yet, Linguist has already made an impact on the recruiting trail by sending out a slew of offers Tuesday night.
As you will see, all these guys are highly-ranked and from the southern portion of the country. These kinds of offers are things you would rarely see from the previous regime, so a change in the recruiting approach has already begun in the defensive room in Ann Arbor.
