First-year Nebraska coach Scott Frost found what seems to be an electric talent at quarterback in freshman Adrian Martinez.
But as Frost prepares for his first Big Ten game Saturday at Michigan (noon, FS1), the status of his young signal caller is still in doubt.
Frost, per the Omaha World-Herald, told reporters in Lincoln that Martinez — who missed Saturday's loss to Troy with a knee injury — did practice with the team Monday but is still a question mark for Saturday's game against the Wolverines.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Martinez won the starting job at Nebraska out of fall camp and appeared to be the type of spark Frost's team needed entering this season.
