ANN ARBOR -- Nebraska's football team is off to a rocky start under first-year head coach Scott Frost.
The Cornhuskers, Michigan's opponent next week, dropped their second straight game to open the season, losing 24-19 to Troy at home. They are 0-2 for the first time since 1957. The loss was also their sixth straight at home.
Nebraska sophomore walk-on quarterback Andrew Bunch, starting for injured Adrian Martinez, threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to JD Spielman that cut the deficit to 24-19 with 2 minutes, 55 seconds remaining.
The team got the ball back with 2:26 to play, but two plays later, Brunch threw his second interception of the game that sealed it for Troy (2-1).
