ANN ARBOR -- The Michigan and Nebraska football teams could be excused for forgetting they're actually members of the same conference.
The last time they played was in 2013. Michigan last visited Lincoln in 2012 and won't go there again until 2021. Such is reality for teams in opposite divisions of a 14-team league.
The all-time series is deadlocked at 4-4-1. Michigan lost the 2013 game, 17-13.
Saturday's game figures to be greatly affected by whether or not Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez plays. The true freshman led a potent offensive attack two weeks ago against Colorado before he hurt his knee in the fourth quarter of an eventual loss.
