The Michigan Wolverines learned their 2021 NCAA Tournament draw on Sunday evening and were able to hold on to one of the four available No. 1 seeds. They will open tournament action on Saturday in a showdown with the winner of the Mount St. Mary’s vs. Texas Southern play-in game.
Gonzaga and Baylor were the top two overall seeds followed by Illinois and Michigan. The Wolverines are a No. 1 seed in the tournament for the first time since the 1992-93 season.
