Michigan is on a roll. Among teams ranked in Monday's AP Top-25, only five teams are currently riding a longer winning streak than the Wolverines, who have won five straight.
Recent success is no longer supposed to matter to the NCAA Tournament selection committee, but Michigan has compiled quality wins during the last 10 days -- Ohio State, at Penn State, at Maryland.
As a result, the Wolverines are pegged as a 6 seed among many bracket prognosticators. Michigan's opener in the Big Ten Tournament, against either Illinois or Iowa, won't do much for its resume, however.
